FABRE TP has a long tradition of organizing challenge sessions at the EAAP Conference, often in collaboration with the Genetics Commission. FABRE TP Supports Transparency in Gene Editing: Contribution to EAAP 2024 Session on Bioinformatics

The 2024 EAAP Annual Meeting featured a high-level session on “The Role of Bioinformatics Applied to Livestock Data” on Sunday afternoon at the Palazzo dei Congressi in Florence. Among the highlights was a presentation by Frédéric Debode (CRA-W) introducing the GenEdit database—an open-source tool developed within the DETECTIVE project to collect and organise data on genome-edited organisms.
