About FABRE TP
Who we are
Stimulating European research in animal breeding and reproduction.
The Farm Animal Breeding and Reproduction Technology Platform (FABRE TP) promotes research and innovation for sustainable animal breeding and reproduction in Europe. We cover all farmed animal species, on land and in water.
FABRE TP is the research and innovation platform linked to EFFAB, the European Forum of Farm Animal Breeders. It acts as a bridge between the breeding sector and the research community, bringing them together to share knowledge, collaborate and advance research and innovation in Europe.
Since 2009, FABRE TP has been recognised by the European Commission as the European Technology Platform (ETP) for farm animal breeding and reproduction. We turn the sector's research needs into priorities for EU research.

Our work
What we do
We work across four areas to make sure research in farm animal breeding and reproduction meets the needs of the sector, and that its results reach practice.
Set research and innovation agendas
We identify the research needs of the breeding and reproduction sector, with input from our members and stakeholders, and set them out in our Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA).
